  • How to say ‘where’, ‘when’, ‘why’ and ‘how’

    Hi, I was wondering how you would say the following in sindarin as I’ve looked on this site and I can’t seem to find them: ‘Where’, ‘when’ (question form not ‘ir’), ‘why’ and ‘how’. I’ve looked on other sites and they all seem to say that: Where = mas, When = mar. Why = amman, How = manen. Are these no longer accepted? I’ve put them forward as a contribution but they were rejected. Thankyou very much!

  • Pronounciation of ‘Sindarin’.

    Hi, have been wondering for some time how you pronounce ‘Sindarin’. Everyone I’ve heard, including myself, pronounces it as sinDARRin. However if you were to follow the Sindarin pronunciation wouldn’t it then be SEENdarreen. Thoughts?

    Hi, just saw the Tengwar parf edhellen and noticed that the ‘r’ in parf was the one that goes before vowels. Should it be changed to the one that looks like an upside down ‘u’. I may be missing something however so please comment if I am :)
