Hi, everyone.

I'm very bad at languages, it may seem strange to some that I'm here. But I suddenly wanted to make myself a nickname in Elvish by linking my name and what I like, that is - "Anton the artist".

I found a bunch of translators, but I'd like it to be in English so I can use it in speech, i.e. read it. If someone can help translate these couple words into Quenya, that would be really great, or at least close in meaning. Thanks in advance.

Found in one of the dictionaries that artist is translated as "maeron"(Sindarin) and "maitar"(Quenya) sounds very nice) But I could be wrong.

"Melmaeron" - so this variant is spelled correctly and has the right to exist as a name? Given the words embedded in it.

Yes, Melmaeron can probably work, c.f. Gelmir < gell + mîr.

However I would say Melvaeron is the safer option, i.e. the one that is likelier to be properly correct. An attested example relevant here would be Elvellyn from ell + mellon (plural). I myself would recommend this form.

I love the word "maeron" so much. Is there any way to keep it or another option?

The element maeron is equally present in both Melvaeron and Melmaeron. But if preserving it phonetically is a priority, then I suppose Melmaeron can still work as a late compound.

Now I have doubts between these options again))) Meh. Well, whatever happens I'll keep what's closer to me).
