A neologism coined by Raccoon posted on 2024-05-12 in the Vinyë Lambengolmor Discord Server (VLDS), a combination of apa “after”, árë (ári-) “✱noontide”, and an abstract noun suffix -lë, inspired by the similarly formed G. obauthri “afternoon”. In Tolkien’s writings, árë was only glossed “sunlight, warmth”, but Raccoon posited that it might also mean “✱noontide” based on G. auth “sunshine, warmth; noontide”.
