A suffix used for the names of languages, appearing only in Nimriyê, the languages of the Nimir (SD/414). My best guess for the form of this suffix is ✱-iyê with Nimir reduced to Nimr- by the Adûnaic syncope. If the first element is instead Nimri (perhaps an adjective meaning “Elvish”), the suffix could be ✱-yê or even ✱-ê, with the y inserted as the usual glide-consonant after the final -i.
