A nickname for an artist 🌿

Malwaeth #3477

Hi everyone!

I've been secretly following the site for many years, I wanted to thank you so much because you are my point of reference. Like a lighthouse!

Only now decided to ask for help from you who are much more experienced.

I'm an illustrator, for now working in the home video world and for some time now I've had a fictitious name that I absolutely didn't use elvish (malwaeth). Since on my profile I'm publishing both stuff related to my work and personal things (in any case fantasy), I wanted your help in composing a nickname for another profile, where I can put all stuff that's not for homevideo. My name is Marika, but I know that for some names (in Sindarin, I like it better), there is no real translation, so we have to go and see the meaning of the name. Mine would stand for a waterhole nymph. I was thinking of including the word "maeron" in the name (since, if I'm not wrong, stands for artist)

Can you help me? I could write something myself but I would like it to be grammatically as correct as possible.

Thank you!!!!

Nenwaeron "nen.wae.ron" would be Water Artist. nen n. “water; lake, pool; (lesser) river” + maeron n. “artist, poet”. Not sure what others might come up with.

Thanks for the suggestion!

So when two consonants come into contact, one collapses and the one after it's doubled? (Pure curiosity)

No that was an error. I updated the name. Because nen’s primitive form does not end in a vowel. So the ‘m’ in maeron mutates. If it ended in a vowel that would allow it to form into ‘mm’ because of rule 57 [n] assimilated to following labial at morpheme boundaries. Others can explain it better than I can. lol
