Change log 2017-07-22:

• Re-enabled wildcard support for search terms. If you write aw*th it should henceforth yield awarth, wheras *aw would yield a words ending with aw, e.g. aw, baw, daw, gaw, maw etc.
• Increased comment field size.
• Added a polyfill for requestAnimationFrame to enable scrolling animations for Android devices.

• Implemented automatic retry mechanism for failing requests (like when you are on the phone and your phone loses connection with Parf Edhellen). The solution employs a three retry policy with exponential back-off.
• Enhanced error logging with categorization, which will improve the way we deal with errors reported by our members.
• Removed the hash redirection for the first page on Discuss, which required you to press the browser's back button twice to leave a thread.
• Support for gloss details, enabling administrators to suggest improvements on glosses imported from Eldamo and other, similar sources.
• Introduced Recharts to some views. We will be leveraging its visualization goodness in the months to come.

• Subscribe button for people logged in. You can now subscribe to a thread to receive updates, even though you have not contributed to it.
• Pin to top for administrators, enabling certain posts to be pinned to the top of the discussion
• Word inflections from phrases are now searchable - inflections from Eldamo will be up next.
• New Formatting help tab while writing posts, with information on how to use our transcription service.

Change log 2018-08-19:

• Imported Eldamo 0.6.7 and registered verb inflections as searchable keywords.

Note: Eldamo has introduced words in their word lists that were invented by the community as well as Paul himself. These words are called neologisms. Their method of invention is based on utilising the phonetic development of Tolkien's languages, which Tolkien (mostly) described in great detail throughout his lifetime. By inventing new words, Eldamo's word lists have grown substantially, partly by recycling words from Goldogrin.

We have decided to only import a subset of Eldamo's word list of neologisms. The primary reason is that we do not want to shift our focus from content which were made by none other than Tolkien himself; it is not our intention of turning Parf Edhellen into a platform for predominantly derivative works. Therefore, our filter function has ensured that the neo-elvish words we import have been vetted (by checking the @vetted attribute on the word node) and that they are either Quenya or Sindarin.

Change log 2018-08-25:

• Fixed a bug which caused the search queries by language to fail. The root cause was unfortunately found two weeks after it appeared, and I apologize for the inconvenience. Now, you should be able to search by language again.

Change log 2018-09-24:

• Widened the website on wide viewports (1600+ pixels). The website will now stretch to 2200 pixels, and up to four columns.
• Replaced our previous layouting solution with native CSS columns. All modern browsers support columns, and I believe they will do a much better job in organizing the content on the website.

These changes are experimental. I will be correcting and fine tuning until I am confident that the solution has matured.
