Wow! Thanks for all the info. Tis' Eye-opening indeed to see the utter complexity of Sindarin as a language. Reminds me of Latin Declensions during my Classical Anthro Days haha!
Now one question, would Lindel or Glinnel seemingly stand in as a suitable form for Telerin Singers? By that I mean would it be more Lore-accurate for a group of Silvan/Sindar elves to only refer to themselves as Lindel or as Linnyr? These elves also would be of a purely Telerin strain from Eryn Lasgalen...not slightly Neo-Noldorized like some of the Silvan folk in Lindon or Imladris post War of Wrath and destruction of Eregion respectfully. Thanks again!

Looking to find an appropriate name for my Pen and paper group again. We're currently trying to make a cool name for our merry band of Silvan/Sindarin characters. These are the three names as follows. Let us know if our Grammer is on mark or not. We've been trying to craft these for awhile :) Thanks again!

Oh wow, thanks for the fast reply! Dingelon sounds very nice! Would something as simple as Celethlîr also make sense for a Wood-Elf? Especially one with potential history with the Laegrim of Ossiriand? The Epessë I had floating around for him would be something like Laegeldir or Laegelhir as a scion of the lost realm of Ossiriand.
Thanks again for all the help! I'm currently studying classics and hope to use Greek and Latin as a good foothold into learning Sindarin!

Translation Help!
Hi Everyone!
I've been looking for a suitable name to give to my Silvan character I wrote for a Paper and Pen Roleplaying game with some friends. He'd be speaking Sindarin within the Court of Oropher/Thranduil so I wanted to his first name fully Sindarin while potentially giving his Surname Or Epessë a Silvan or Woodland-tongue homage.
Celethlorn is what I've got as of now...
celeth for Stream and lorn for quiet water.
My hope is for this to potentially mean (Quiet-Stream) but my mastery of Sindarin grammar is lackluster at best...
Does that make grammatical sense or does the noun not modify Celeth into (Quiet-Stream)? Thanks for the help, hope my question was fairly transparent. Regards, John
