An adverb in the Gnomish Lexicon of the 1910s appearing as G. {nuntha or nunthu >>} nunthi “downward”, with a deleted gloss that could be “belo[w]” (GL/61). It is clearly based on the early root ᴱ√NUHU as suggested by Christopher Tolkien (LT1A/Númë; QL/68).
