Gnomish

laub

noun. shirt

A noun appearing as G. laub “shirt” in the Gnomish Lexicon of the 1910s (GL/53), clearly a cognate to ᴱQ. laupe “shirt, tunic” from the contemporaneous Qenya Lexicon (QL/51).

Neo-Sindarin: I’d retain ᴺS. laub “shirt” for purposes of Neo-Sindarin as there are no later alternatives.
