A neologism for “key” coined by Paul Strack in 2020 based on the root √LAT “open” and inspired by the neologism ᴺQ. latil (NQNT), with the suggestion of i-mutation from Elaran by analogy with S. megil “sword” vs. Q. macil. Sami Paldanius instead suggested ᴺS. padol based on the root ᴹ√PAT in VQP (VQP).
