Name translate

Hello everyone. I need a help to translate my common name into Quenya, in English it means "God-given"/"given by God". This name has many forms in many languages: Deodatus (latin)/Bohdan(slavic)/Nethaniel/Matthew (from hebrew) etc. I tried to translate the name myself, but there are several problems here:

1. I can not simply translate the word "given" and give it the usual ending of the male name "-on" to Quenya/Sindarin, because the result: Eruanon, God "Eru" + word "give, gift" anno/anto + ending "-on". 'CAUSE in Quenya, word "anon" it’s also "son". I definitely do not want to be literally "son of the God". Also I can not accept this option because in the famous Christian prayer "Hail Mary, full of grace..." used a similar Eruanno ..... (full quote: Aia María quanta Eruanno) that has another meaning.

2. I can’t take the variant Eruanton because Anton is a famous male name, especially in Eastern Europe...

I am not familiar with Quenya so others will have to chime in. But I do know that the name was brought up on VL discord as Eruanwa / Eruanno in Quenya "God-gift" or "given by God". Done by Elaran. I wish I was more help.

I have also seen that that using Eru could be considered blasphemous among Elves.

Thanks for your answer. About blasphemous: yep, you are right, but:

1. I can not translate my own name without using "Eru", 'cause it's literally part of the original name.

2. The rule "do not mention God's name in people's/elvish names" applies in creating (giving) a new name. However, i saw some names, which usе "Eru" at that list of elvish names: eldamo.org

The only names referring to people on that list refer to Marie and Jesus, and appeared in translations of Christian prayers. The few other words there containing Eru a terms for various religious concepts, not people.

Ultimately the question is this: do you want this name to be a name that could plausibly exist in-universe?

If the answer is no, then you're good, so long as you are aware of this caveat.

If the answer is yes, then you cannot use Eru in it. There are ways to translate names such as yours without breaking this limitation, if you are interested.

Valanwa / Valanno would be culturally appropriate equivalents, I believe.

No, I'm not sure Valannon would work inn Quenya. Though in Sindarin you could have Balannon.
