I'm looking for a Sindarin masculine name that could relate to the Fëanturi especially Mandos in particular. I found that Fannor was the Noldorin/Sindarin equivalent to the title and on a page here in the Elvish dictionary I found "Fennir" listed among the variations. Could Fenniron work? And if not would Fennorion work as "Scion of the Spirit(Cloud)-Master(Lord)"? Thanks!

Fannor is the Sindarin cognate of Fantur "Cloud-lord", which refers to Mandos and Lórien. Fennir is attested as a plural form, but it is outdated and replaced by Fennyr; either way, it's not a variation but a plural.
"Scion of Fantur" would be Fennerion, though I do not think such a name can be given to an Elf since it implies descent from Mandos or Lórien, which is naturally impossible and untrue.
Also I should note that Fantur / Fennor come from older drafts, and indeed the later term used is Feantur "Spirit-master". A Sindarin equivalent of that would be Faedor, I suppose.

Thanks so much for the clarification and the prompt response, you're a legend Ellanto! I was thinking "Scion of Fantur" mainly in a metaphorical sense but maybe something like a disciple, follower, or champion of the Feantur or at least something that could evoke a connection to the spirits who passed would fit better.
Earlier I played around with "Faernúr", my friend who is more a student of language said he theorized a "Fie-ur-noor" pronunciation. Would you agree or say it would be more like Feanor's, "fae" as in a "day" or pronounced like the English Faerie? Then my thought was to take núr from the "sad waters" of Núrnen since Tolkien mentioned a relation to guru or Quenya nuru "death" which itself is related to Mandos. However, I've read such translations for Núrnen and Núrn are sketchy at best. Nevertheless, My thought would be that this could translate to "Phantom of Sadness" a sadness related to death.

Before I address your questions, I should note that there need not be an apostrophe in mae govannen IMO. You can find an in depth explanation here.
Disciple/follower/champion of Feantur would yield something far too long to be a name unfortunately. But perhaps I can offer Faevor "Faithful vassal of spirit (incarnate)" or Faervor "... of spirit (disembodied)".
Faernúr would not work phonotactically, in addition to the considerations you mentioned. Sindarin compounding is notoriously complicated and nuanced.
fae is pronounced as [faɛ], though I suppose IPA might not help much. Approximating it as a rhyme for die is close enough, since there is no equivalent sound in English anyway.
For "Phantom of Sadness" I can't come up with anything that looks good... Maybe Faerdhim, but still not very good IMO...
