Think I am getting the hang of it thanks to Gwilithiel. So, here we have the plural of horror dael its root √NDAY making a soft mutation of N. But since it is plural the definite article in is used which causes a nasal mutation in deal to become ndael because it follows in. And the "n" in "in" is lost before most consonants, with nasal mutation. I believe that is correct. Also the diphthong ae does not mutate. Crossing my fingers I am starting to figure this out.
