I’d say tirith na-daur works for the border guard (which I presume is a building); if you intend the border guard to be a tower of sorts, I’d recommend using tirion instead.

I presume tir- + -(r)on + plural? That would work for the people guarding at the border guard, but not the border guard itself. That same formation could be used to then construct tiron dholen na-daur (pl. tiryn dholin na-daur) for “scout”; tirith does not work to describe a person.

Ah, my intent is for the people who are soldiers upon the border, who guard it against all enemies from outside the land.

Ah I see; since the border guard is a person, I would say tiron na-daur (pl. tiryn na-daur).
