I was wondering whether there are any specific rules applying to the formation of names or certain nouns by adding a suffix to a verb or adjective. E.g., in quenya there are quite a few suffixes. Some seem to be agential, like -mo and -ro, while others do not, like -on.
Do the agential ones generally go with verbs and the others with adjectives? Or are there any coalescence or consonant change issues involved?
