(first I'm sorry about my english, that's not my native language) i need help to make a name in sindarin, more specifically the feminine of "thalion" or "callon", or some other name that means "hero" and "dauntless" or something similar. I had thought of "Thalionel" or "callonel" but I really don't know if that's right.
The entry for thalion references the masculine suffix -on as being a part of it. The feminine suffix -el would be suitable to replace it, I think. Thus producing Thaliel as a possible name. That doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, though. A better alterative would be Belegwen/Belegeth, or "Mighty Woman." These examples are derived from the adjective beleg, the suffix -wen (meaning "maiden"), and the feminine suffix -eth which carries the general meaning of "woman."
