Hello adventurers!
WARNING: It's a very long post. If you are the chosen one, please feel free to break this post into as many sections as you would like!
I am requesting your assistance in finding the appropriate or closest match to certain chain of words or phrases I have thought of. This is with the intention of "naming/titling" a character(s) in the making. I would prefer it to be in Sindarin but honestly, I will take either of which is possible. (Please, do forgive me for the long post)
So, I have been able to draw my thoughts under the chain of words listed below:
1) |blood-moon|: I am not sure why I insist on this because my brain clearly hurts when I think of this as it sounds very.... dumb? But what I had in mind is similar to what an "Eclipse" is. Moreso, the concept or idea of "engulfing" or "devouring"?
2) |blood-seeker|: I originally thought of someone who is thirsty for blood or, "bloodthirsty", with the very obvious intent.
3) |blood-flower|: This one does not have an in-depth approach. I had broken this down from the flower [Spider Lily]. Thought it would be a delicate but chilling/mysterious feminine name.
4) |moon-flower|: This one too comes from a flower. Meant to be a delicate name but also portray their physical appearance and functionality.
5) |moon-maiden|: This one follows a religious theme so it's more of a title or at least what my thoughts are on as of now. "Follower of the moon", "Servants of the moon", and such.
6) |moon-blood|: This one is more direct. "One with the blood of the moon" "Children of moon-goddess". Or just a poetic and dramatic combination for a name.
Now I had previously done a tad bit of research before writing this, but I still lack the required knowledge to be able to make sense of any names that may conjure out of those combinations.
Hoping I got them right, these are what I had found:
- ithil (moon)
- sereg (blood)
- loth (flower)
- wen (maiden)
- dineth (women, lady)
I do sincerely apologize once more for such a long post as I have noticed many of the posts here are not as long as mine.
In addition to this, I have another request (also for translating). I was wondering if it would be possible to find a word/phrase most similar to or expresses: [Superbia]; Latin for "pride". I could not find any words that satisfied my inquisition to this, so I hope you would be able to help me, dear kind soul.
