Dwarf names

maegovannen im making a fanfic (in my head lol i cant write) and just looking for some dwarf names (male and female) that kinda go with fili and kili. sorryforranting

You can try looking for inspiration for Dwarf names in Old Norse. Tolkien picked most of the names he used for Dwarves (as well as the name Gandalf!) from the Dvergatal section of Vǫluspá.

Thanks! i just have one question. if i wanted to use one of the names like say Hildr how would i make that a bit easier to pronounce/spell?

That very greatly depends on the name and on your approach in adapting it, so there is no single answer. For the names in the Dvergatal, see for example their equivalents in the English translation given here.

Specifically for Hildr (note - this is a feminine name), a standard English adaptation is Hild. Alternatively you could go for the Icelandic version Hildur.
