Concerning embalmers of Rath Dínen: could anyone help with the translation?

As we seem to have no word for "embalm", I wonder if we can use vorta-, as "preserve, make lasting" seems to be suitable? If yes, what might the corresponding noun (preserver) be; vortamo, probably?
