Quenya song - odd grammar and wording - please comment

Hello all.

Here is a song composed more than 15 years ago by french larpers supposedly in quenya. It is passed from mouth to ear as a badge of belonging in the elvish Community.

Having received it in written form recently, i found that its structure was weird. So i checked it here, as i did with key words of the translation.

Either the composer is far beyond me in quenya, or he pretty botched it.

Would be please make your traduction of the Following text ?

Your text is a mix of poorly inflected Quenya, Sindarin and something else. It's an intelligible garbled mess that is very hard to translate, and in comparison to a real-world situation, the text is sprinkled with English, Latin and Chinese words.

Here's my attempt:

Eternal end my foot/bottom Maeglin-?dar (?bis)
the sun and the cup of the lady (?bis) come
Border as far as it eternal together eternal
[come] walk with me ?teryn, to the handle that all desires
between steadfast blood, we will find the day.

(bis) is probably an indicator that the line is repeated

teryn could be plural of toron "brother" (Old Noldorin)

It almost looks Grelvish to me. But then Sindarin/Noldorin isn't in my expertise. ?

I cannnot say that i am happy that we share the same conclusion. I was feeling wretched in front of seasoned quenya writers. i now feel somehow deceived.

The song was supposed to say :

to the ennemi, eternals.

It's difficult to tell (since each word contains at least one problem) but it looks like the order of the lines in the "Elvish" translation and the English are different.

For example the first English line matches the fourth "Elvish" line:

Let's walk, Brothers, on the warpath
Pado nin teryn, na i maetha ne irath

But it rather says:

Walk me brothers(!), to the to-fight(!) in(?) thepath [sic]

If I were to address all of the problems, I would end up writing a novel, so I will spare myself and everyone else here. What I will say is that, if the "Elvish Community" of those French LARPers care even a little bit about authenticity, then they should stop repeating this thing immediately. I will give proper translations if it would help. The English translation does not quite match what I can gather from the "Elvish" one, but I will stick to the English one in any case. Now...

the original was in french. no Wonder the order of words are not the same,
