sarofarn

noun. the seashore

A noun in the Gnomish Lexicon of the 1910s glossed “the seashore”, apparently a combination of G. saros “surf, sea” and G. farn “boundary”, the latter also sometimes used by itself as “shore” (GL/34; GL/67).
