Robert Reynolds instead suggested ᴺQ. menemma basing its initial element on the later word men- “go, move”, but I prefer levemma because I believe men- implies motion in one direction (= “go”) as opposed to lev- which implies motion in general (= “move”).

Luinyelle suggested its reduced form levemmar might be reinterpreted as a plural noun, but that seems unlikely to me for such a late compound, so I think it might simply have a stem form of levemmard- instead.
