An adjective in the Gnomish Lexicon of the 1910s appearing as {aldin >>} âlog “of wood, wooden”, an adjectival form of {ald >>} G. âl “wood (material)” (GL/19). A variant form alcharn was written beside it in pencil, perhaps âl + carn “✱wood finished”.
