Numbers

Eldamo states that in Quenya, "seventy seven" would most likely be "otso otsoquain." Does this mean that Quenya has a numerical structure similar to German, where the smaller digits are said first, and the larger digits are said last? If this is the case, how are large numbers spelled and said? Would "seven hundred seventy seven" be "otsotusque otso otsuquain" or would it be "otso otsoquain otsotusque?"

Hey Ned

777 in Quenya would be otso otoquain tuxe otso.

As the Eldamo article explains, the order is always from smallest to largest, so 777 is seven otso + seventy otoquain + seven hundred tuxe otso.

Thus for example 2573 would be nelde otoquain tuxe lempe húme atta, etc.
