We haven’t set up a complete FAQ yet, but in this thread you can find some links for starting to learn Sindarin.
Saying “thank you” in Sindarin is a bit of a sore topic, Tolkien didn’t leave us with an attested word for it and constructing a good neologism from the other information we have about the languages isn’t easy, but hannon le from the movies doesn’t hold up well. If you can’t type accents, people will usually understand you if you write long vowels as mellon niin. Also, hello mellon nín technically means “strip (heltha-), my friend!” 😉️
