Help with a surprise project.

Moondoggy #302

I'm in the process of creating a special surprise for my girlfriend. She is a big fan of Tolkien. I'm trying to get both a phonetic translation as well as the written fancy language of the script. But it's going to be a big permanent thing in her life and I want it to be as close to perfect as it can get so I'm turning to the people who have the most experience with it all. The first phrase is; you are my final fantasy. The second phrase is; until ragnarok and beyond. Your help is greatly appreciated and thank you all in advance.

Hi Moondoggy and welcome to Parf Edhellen!

I am, to say the least, curious of this project, and I wish you all the best! Unfortunately, your phrases as-is cannot be translated as we lack words for "fantasy" and "Ragnarök." However, given the connotations, I believe the following would fit:

Nálye métima símanya nálye métima símanya
You are my final imagination
tenn' Ambar-metta pella tenn Ambar-metta pella
until [and] beyond [the] end of the world

Regards,
Aldaleon

Thank you for your assistance. I could still say it's loosely translated as what I originally wrote and have it mean the same. As for what the project is, I'm working on a custom engagement ring and wedding band for my girlfriend. And I want the phrases to go on the inside of the rings. Engagement ring for the first one and wedding band for the second one. She doesn't know what I'm doing yet and I'm hoping I can keep it that way until I get the rings. So your help is immensely appreciated. Thank you again.
