Can someone help translate a few phrases?

Athradien #4738

Hello everyone. I'm a lifelong Tolkien fan and have just discussed this wonderful community. I am wondering if anyone can help me correctly translate a few English phrases into Sindarin or Quenya? Or am I in the wrong place for that...?

What phrases do you want translated?

Hello! Thank you for answering! I would like to translate "Wedding Announcement." I believe it is "Veryanwë Canwa" but I don't know if the words are in the right order. Also, I would like to know what "Spear" or "Spear-Bearer" would be in Sindarin or Quenya. Thank you so much for answering, again. Any help you can be would be so appreciated.

I think this should be Announcement of the Wedding and in Quenya I believe it would be canwa i·veryanweo.

Well we have the ᴺS. [ᴱN.] eithron n. “*spearman, ⚠️[ᴱN.] warrior” if that is what you are looking for?

There is also ᴹQ. ehtyar n. “spearman”.

That's very interesting, thank you! I am wondering if the words for "Announcement of the Wedding" have any special characters, like the "e" in "Veryanwë"? And it sounds like "eithron" or "ehtyar" would work for "spear-bearer." Thank you! I am wondering if there are Elvish lettering characters I can use. To have the Elvish script that says "canwa i·veryanweo" would be amazing to put on my wedding announcement. I really appreciate your help, thank you!

You can use Tengwar canwa iveryanweo. But I am not super proficient with Tengwar so you might wait for others to verify.

Thank you again. This is all very wonderful. I have been reading about the Two Trees - I am going to evoke them on my Wedding Announcement. Tolkien's world is endlessly fascinating.
