Gnomish

cingra-

verb. to plait

A verb in the Gnomish Lexicon of the 1910s glossed “to plait” (GL/26). It might be related to the early root ᴱ√KANGA [KAŊA] “weave” (QL/45) since short syllabic became in in Gnomish, so perhaps ✱kŋ̣gra- > ✱cingra-.
