Help with translation and script

Oren Lavi #254

Hey,

I'm trying to translate a line from the poem 'Invictus' by William Ernest Henley. The last line is - I am the captain of my soul. I tried translating it piece by piece and I got : Nanye ihesto va feanya

Now, I first want to know whether the translation is correct, and then I would like someone's help to scripting this into Quenya. Thank you very much for the help, Oren

It should be:

Nanyë i hesto fëanyo & in Tengwar

thanks! im having trouble with the line just before this one (from the same poem) "I am the master of my fate" which translated to Quenya is this "Ni am i héru -o mime umbart", is this a correct translation? and once again i will ask for it's writing in Tengwar.

thanks in advance

I recognise this; leaving "am" as it is, hyphens here and there, nonsensical formations... You must have used an "online translator". They can never provide accurate translations, even with the simplest of phrases. What it gave you is barely more accurate than random letters. I strongly suggest staying away from them. If you need translations, simply ask experts.
