Are "Elothiel", "Tinnuglîr", and "Aurëlosta" valid names under Tolkien's naming conventions?

Mae govannen!

So Elothiel is incorrect it would be Ellothwen "Star-Blossom Maiden if you want Ellothiel it would mean Star-Blossom Daughter.

Tinnulir Would be "Twilight-poem" if that is what you are going for.

I can't help with Quenya though. :(

Thank you so much for the insight!

I like the meaning of Elothiel as “Star-Blossom Daughter” — it resonates with the character’s lineage and symbolism in my story, so I think I’ll keep that form after all. The -iel suffix gives it a graceful and almost sacred feeling, which fits her quite well. As for Tinnuglîr, I’m glad it works as a “Twilight-poem” — that’s exactly the atmosphere I was aiming for: )

Just note that it would be Tinnulir not Tinnuglîr. 😁
